Description
The International Space Station (ISS) is photographed for 30 seconds passing by the moon. Its path is captured as a trail as it passes overhead at an altitude of about 220 miles and a speed of 17,500 miles an hour or 5 miles a second. . Doing the math 5 (miles/second) x 30 (seconds) = 150 miles for the length of the trail. The small horizontal lines are star trails formed by the earth's rotation. Do you want to spot the ISS? Google "Spot the Station" . Its really an exciting and easy thing to do.
