Description

I managed to photograph the Northern Lights about 2.00 AM with very bad conditions. Our ship was moving and rocking, I was surrounded by lights. Some stars can be seen too. Radiation from the sun travels to the North and South magnetic poles which 'excite' radiation creating one on nature's greatest light shows. The strange lines of the stars are caused by the ship's rocking and movements in the violent North Atlantic from Iceland.
